N. 2 Sign up for oral quiz

Oral quiz, via ZOOM, Friday Feb. 26, 12.30PM

We will begin with 5 students. The quiz consists of reading from a list of words that you have already seen in the textbook.

It will also include a few basic questions (your name, how do you say, what does it mean and similar.)

LISTEN to the soundfiles in the textbook and practice pronunciation using SPEECHNOTES.

COMMENT: sign up. If there are more than 5 students, I will see how many slots I can accommodate for this session.

Numero 1 Scadenza 19 febbraio

 Ciao a tutti.

Use "Comment" to introduce yourself (My name is in italiano)

THEN, add information about your origin (ethnic, cultural, national, by continent or whatever else feels comfortable.) Also say what origins your parents are.

Modello:

io sono Fabio Girelli Carasi. io sono di origine italiana   (the adjective must be in the feminine form "italiana" because the noun ORIGINE is feminine).

Mia madre e' di origine ebraica.  (e' vero)

Mio padre e' di origine italiana.  (e' vero)

--- If you find that your dictionary gives you an adjective that ends with << e >> (esempio: canadese), that form works both for masculine and feminine and doesn't change.

Now it's your turn to find out and let us know.
